Light & Salt
One of The Thirsty Ministries’ passion is to help believers everywhere to be activated and to obey the “GO” of the gospel. The Lord wants us to be witnesses and disciples. A disciple has to “follow” Jesus.. He is on the move.. “Light & Salt” is all about that.
When The Thirsty Ministries is invited to local churches to conduct a Light & Salt weekend, we come to teach, pray, impart, activate believers to GO out and release the kingdom everywhere. Between the sessions, there will be an opportunity to put into practice what we learned. To go out, share the love of God and gospel, heal the sick, pray for the needy and see God working.
The program is a 2 and a half days event, but can be altered according to the church’s circumstances.
Topics covered during the weekend:
- The love of God: The driving power, the reason why we do all this, hearts with compassion
- Identity in Christ that brings authority.. Knowing who I am, knowing Him who is in me and knowing to whom I belong
- Hearing the voice of God
- How to pray for the sick
- How to pray for deliverance
- How to receive and share words of knowledge
- Fear of men & shame: the main two hindrances
- Dealing with disappointments
Traveling expenses are NOT expected to be covered by the hosting church (flights, accommodation, etc..), but a love offering is voluntary
